== Overview == The Sault Labs is a research complex dedicated to the genetic research on all manner of life on the planet. It's primary directive being to improve the understanding on biological systems and how to manipulate them to be beneficial to the Agency. In some cases, the SCP Foundation as well. The labs fulfill several purposes. Primarily the study of SCP's for the Furtive Agency. The Labs are maintained by The Sault Family (IyΓ²) and their vast wealth. The main complex is located at secret coordinates in the Blueridge mountains of northern Georgia and Southern Tennessee. The location chosen for it's difficult terrain and relative seclusion. The complex has several nodes. Each node is in the shape of a pyramid and is hollowed out. Within the hollow spaces are the operational components of the complex. The pyramid shape is used to harness the natural energies of the Earth. == Research & Development Center == There are several sub-divisions that exist within the Sault Research Complex. Each of them serve a purpose and have added function of being completely independent through the modular construction of the labs. This lab is also responsible for the development of the LSV-1 Scarab. === Botany Labs === The Botany Labs are a more recent addition to the research complex. While they have not contributed to the SCPs or functions of the Agency or Foundation, the progress in the division has shown great potential. Anomalous plant life discovered around the world are brought to the attention of those working at the Sault Labs, where experts in anomalous plants go into the field and collect, analyze and when needed, destroy plants that pose great threats to humanity. === Biolabs === The Biolab division is responsible for several SCPs in the recent years. SCPs such as SCP-74616 and '''SCP-9223''', just to list a few. These SCPs have been developed to assist Agency and Foundation personnel during field assignments. Those SCPs have become part of many types of Agency and Foundation units. In some cases, critical pieces. Agency personnel working with some of the SCP's assigned by Biolabs have experienced an increase of survival rates and fewer cases of mental breakdown since implementation of the SCP's in the field. Especially in the more dangerous anomalous events. This has been especially useful in scenarios where time and or reality have become warped. Specifically, these new biological SCP's with time and reality bending resistance have been used to combat the results of the Mandela Effect. == The Sault Menagerie == The Menagerie is a result of the experiments within the Biolabs. Successful experiments are then housed and studied within the menagerie for further testing and research purposes. These creatures are being studied for their properties and whether those properties are the result of their genetic makeup or if their properties are anomalous. '''<nowiki>'''Creatures in the Menagerie'''</nowiki>''' The menagerie differs from the other labs in several ways. Creature in the menagerie are no longer being studied nor are they suitable for use in an Agency or Foundation team. Usually, the creatures in the menagerie are too dangerous to live out their lives in nature and have no other location on planet that can house them suitably. On rare occasions does an animal get relocated from the menagerie as in most cases, that creature will die within the menagerie walls.
