== Overview == Agartha is traditionally considered a legendary subterranean city or network of cities, often linked with Shambhala, said to be inhabited by an ancient, advanced race. It is the inspiration for books by Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl book series. == Entrance to Agartha == There are several ways to enter Agartha. The primary method is via a tunnels/cave systems that are at Earth’s surface. There are an unknown number of entrances into the cavern systems that make up the Agartha city network, however, all of them eventually link to the “main caverns” that bring you to the city proper. The Agarthan’s have only been known by humanity on the surface for about 25 years. And the number of people with high enough clearances to know about them are less than 30 individuals. The majority of those being either part of the SCP Foundation or a member of one of the major Magical families. == History & Legacy == Several migrations of Agarthans have occurred over the eons. Each migration having significant effects on the planetary surface. There have been seven known major migrations of Agarthan’s to the surface. == Advanced Technologies == The Agarthan network is only the tip of the iceberg of advanced technologies the Agarthan’s have at their disposal. Other tech include advanced medicines and medical techniques, advanced composite materials, advanced understanding of quantum physics, novel building techniques and practices, advanced astrological knowledge, renewable energy, efficiency improvements to energy storage, advanced chemistry formulas and more. A more unknown tech is the Agarthan techniques for bio-mechanical interfacing. Their ability to integrate artificial circuitry and mechanical apparatus to biological forms is unmatched. Contemporary sciences for humanity don’t even come close, with the exception of the work going on within the Sault Labs. But the Agarthan’s are still years ahead. === Cyborg Program === Sometime in the early 2010’s, the Sault Labs were formally introduced to several pieces of classified information. Information that shed light on the Agarthans, the Triclopse, and other beings that were considered beings of cultural mythologies. Or otherwise thought to not exist. Upon this information being shared, scientists and researchers at the Sault Labs have worked around the clock to integrate the knowledge gained for the study of Agarthan technology. One such find led to the founding of The Cyborg Program. == Tunnel Systems == Deep in the Earth’s crust exists a vast network of connected caverns and tunnels. Some of these caverns and tunnels have existed for eons, sheltered from the dramatic changes on the Earth surface. It is here that the first advanced intelligent humanoids were brought into being. These beings, over time, shaped these caverns to fit the needs of a growing population. Eventually founding the first city on the planet, underground. As eons passed, these caverns and passages were formally connected for the use of these people forming the basis of the current Agarthan Tunnel System.
